I may move scanned documents into Obsidian at some point in the future. OneNote for Work based notes and Documentsįile Structure for storing of Scanned Documents managed with TagSpaces. I have always preferred Folder organisation to Tags even in Evernote. WISIWYG editor is pretty good compared to Joplin and can be extended easily with community plugins. Files are all local but synced to OneDrive. Joplin - Like that it is local but not familiar enough with Mark-up to use it well and don't have the energy to put into it for now. Nimbus and Notion - Similar to Evernote 10 in that everything is in the cloud and don't like the way it works for me. Don't like the way it handles PDF but like the note taking and Organisation Structure The benefit is that your data is in your own Synology NAS and not in a cloud with another provider. OneNote - My work is O365 so have moved all my work stuff to here. Synology Note Station is a very good alternative to Evernote or OneNote from Microsoft. They can provide inspiration and structure on what’s possible. Evernote Has a Better UI Evernote looks better than OneNote on every platform. Evernote allows the ability to use battle-tested templates and workflows that save you time. Have Tried loads of the Alternatives and here are my views on some of the most common ones mentioned here.
